“The residents and staff were delighted to be joined during the afternoon by their relatives who are always so supportive to their loved ones and the home.

Staff and residents from Trust Care’s neighbouring home in St Leonards on Sea, Marlborough Lodge visited and enjoyed the event.

Residents were delighted that Bexhill Deputy Mayor Tom Graham attended and enjoyed meeting everybody. Some staff took time out from their hectic schedules to attend the party and have a catch up with staff and residents.

“The local church hall were very supportive lending the home extra seating which was very much needed due to the great turn out.

“Christine, one of the residents, thoroughly enjoyed playing host to the guests and supplied all in attendance with fresh tea, lemonade and lots of cakes, scones and nibbles. The fresh cream and jam scones were a particular hit.”

Christine said: “The party was brilliant. All the visitors were great and I had a wonderful day chatting with the neighbours”.
