A Bexhill man has been charged with two counts of possession of class-A drugs after emergency services attended a collapsed man in St Leonards.

Ricky Taylor, 37, unemployed, of Park Road, Bexhill has been charged with two counts of possession of class A drugs and will appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on August 26.

Emergency services were called to a laundrette in London Road, St Leonards, yesterday (Monday, August 10) after reports a man had collapsed.

A 30-year-old man from St Leonards was taken to hospital with a suspected head injury, however a police spokesman said his injuries were later found to be ‘minor’.

He remains in hospital.
