The London Road garage was not the only place targeted that night as Mount Pleasant Garage in Ninfield Road was also broken-into.

Enquiries are continuing and anyone with information about the incident or knowledge of where the remaining cars might be is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk, quoting serial 22 of 20/02.

Or witnesses can report details online at sussex.police.uk/contact-us/response-to-appeal or phone 101.

Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
