Man arrested after Bexhill criminal damage

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage in Bexhill.

Police were called to reports of someone causing criminal damage to properties in Upper Sea Road and Rotherfield Aveneue, Bexhill, on Friday (May 29) at approximately 11.50pm.

An area search was conducted and a 20-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of causing the damage.

He has been interviewed and released on bail until June 12 pending further enquiries.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious, or who has any other information is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1676 of 29/5.
