Dance school has all the right moves

Splitz Dance Academy is celebrating recent success in this year's Ore Stage Festival held in the Izzard Theatre, Bexhill.

All students danced exceptionally bringing home numerous medals in all genres and gaining confidence and experience competing at a high level. Students aged two through to 14 years represented the school within tap, modern, song and dance and ballet disciplines with two students Summer Caister-Coules and Coco Godden winning medals in every class they danced in.

Summer Caister-Coules was also presented with a bursary from the Bexhill Rotary Club for her outstanding achievements over the week-long event. Principal Stacey Caister said: “I am extremely proud of each and every one of the students for representing the school and working so hard to achieve such great results all round.”

Splitz Dance Academy, which is based in Rye Sport Centre, is now looking ahead to a busy end of term taking part in Studio and London ISTD exams and competitions as well as looking forward to their Musical Theatre Summer School held in August which is open for all to join.
