Doing justice to the work of local amateur artists

The Studio, at the De La Warr Pavilion was once again the venue for Bexhill Artists’ Workspace annual Spring Exhibition, from 24th to 26th May.

The light and airy studio did justice to a large collection of amateur art and crafts of the highest standard.

The work exhibited, incorporated various mediums and techniques, which showcased the featured artists, designers and crafts peoples’ abilities and talents.

More than one hundred paintings, prints and photographs were professionally displayed and could be purchased, along with ceramics, jewellery, knitted accessories and cards all made and designed by BAW members.

Attendees were also able to see various demonstrations over the weekend, including calligraphy and various painting methods.

A raffle was held over the three days with original paintings donated by members as prizes. To find out more visit
