Residents were without electricity for more than eight hours yesterday (Tuesday, October 20).

People in Royston Gardens experienced a power outage from around 3.45pm to 12.30am this morning (Wednesday).

Barry Turner said the problem was an underground cable that needed to be repaired.

“It’s just one of those things in life where you’ve got to do the best you can,” he said.
