Emergency training

17 members and friends of Christchurch Methodist Church Ladies Supper Circle benefitted from the British Heart Foundation (BHF) inspired Heartstart course.

These free courses are run for those who are interested in learning about Emergency Life Support and provides free training in the community.

Chris Cox, the Supper Circle secretary, said: “You just never know when a life threatening incident will occur, and I am not alone in wanting to be more useful in an emergency - this course gives you confidence and knowledge that could help save a life in an emergency.”

Heartstart Eastbourne is sponsored by Eastbourne’s Ambulance Community First Responders.

This course is aimed at the public.

Anyone from the age of ten upwards can attend and learn the complete range of ELS skills. For more information visit http://www.heartstarteastbourne.org/
