Fairtrade style has creativity with conscience

Bexhill Sixth Form College will host a special Fairtrade Fashion Show on Friday March 21 boasting designs from students as well as items from Fairtrade brands and even the return of successful ex-student Zahra Rose.

This annual event celebrates imagination and orginality on the catwalk and is always a huge success for the local Fairtrade campaign.

The event has been well attended in previous years with talented students showing off their creations made from recycled and reclaimed garments. This year promises to be a similar success with the added attraction of Fairtrade brands Nomads, Epona, People Tree and Natural Flow exhibiting and a showcase of Zahra Rose’s recycled designs. Zahra has previously exhibited at Dubai Fashion Week.

Tickets have been on sale for over a week now but there are still some available for £5 for adults and £3 for students, with canapés and a drink included in the ticket price.
