Local charity St Michael’s Hospice is holding a Carers Support Group next month to give carers the opportunity to share and discuss their experiences and to learn about the aid that is available from the Hospice to help them in their roles.
The event, to be held on the evening of Wednesday September 16, 6-7.30pm, invites carers to come together to discuss their experiences as a carer, and to hear about the support available from the Hospice.
A spokesperson for St Michael’s says the meeting, which is open to anyone who lives in Hastings and Rother will be in a relaxed and informal environment and take place in Day Services, at Michael’s Hospice, Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards on Sea.
The spokesperson said that due to its location within the Hospice building, Day Services was fortunate enough to recently re-open after the devastating fire at the Hospice, despite the rest of the Hospice remaining closed
Anyone who requires transport to attend the Carers Support Group or has any queries, is asked to contact Jay Godding, Day Services Manager on 07796 132448 or email email@example.com
Anyone would like to discuss how to access the Day Service facilities is invited to call the Day Service Manager for a chat.
Day Services supports people throughout Hastings and Rother with life-limiting illnesses, offering a variety of services which includes social opportunities and educational programmes that support individuals to optimise their health no matter what stage of wellness they are currently experiencing.
