Stress consultant, therapist and self-help write Anne Todd, from Bexhill, has joined forces with Hastings based fitness instructor Marie Dove to produce a new book called ‘Eat, Drink, And Be Healthy,

Sub-titled ‘weight loss essentials for overcoming comfort eating and drinking’, the book is divided into manageable, bite-size chunks which cover the practical side of exercising and managing weight loss but also offers the emotional support and positivity needed to achieve goals.

The book is due to be released in the next few week and people will be able to download a free sample chapter to see if it is for them.

Anne explained: “dieting is often about overcoming psychological problems and learning to love yourself.

“There are so many books out there which overload people with information and end up confusing them.

“Our book is a manageable 76 pages and uses simple ideas and larger fonts to help important messages to stand out.

“The book is not about eating disorders, it is primarily about weight-loss. We have brought our own experiences to it.”

Anne has worked in schools, using her stress-busting and personal development techniques to great effect, since moving from her native Australia to Bexhill in 1995.

Marie has worked in the fitness industry since 2008 and is fully qualified to teach aerobics, Zumba and Fitness Pilates. She ran a successful Rosemary Conley franchise for five years before starting her own successful Fit Club, currently running 12 classes a week.

Marie is also involved with the charity Tastelife, which helps people with eating disorders.
