Motorcycle thieves in Bexhill and Hastings are being hunted with one teenager arrested but seven bikes are still missing.

A mixture of seven small and large motorbikes were stolen from two shops in Bexhill and Hastings on the nights of July 18 and 19.

They have been seen being ridden in Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill over the past few weeks, according to police.

Six other bikes, stolen on the same nights, have already been recovered and an 18-year old man was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft.

After being interviewed, he was released on police bail until August 22, while enquiries continue.
