Firefighters extinguished a washing machine on fire in Bexhill last night (Sunday, May 22).

Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service appliances from Bexhill were sent to a property in De La Warr Road following reports of a washing machine on fire.

Crews ventilated the property and spent time cutting away to check for any fire spread.
