Efficient Bexhill

I RECENTLY went to Bexhill and I was extremely impressed by the improvements made to the seafront: Western Promenade, gardens, area around the De la Warr Pavilion.

What particularly impressed me was that the large amount of work, started about a year ago, has been completed so promptly.

What a contrast with the length of time necessary to build the Jerwood Gallery which is still not finished after more than two years of disruption. also seems that the refurbishment of the Marina Court facade will take five years.

If the Rother District Council can achieve prompt and efficient improvements to Bexhill, why is Hastings Borough Council unable to do the same?
