Joy of brass music

CONGRATULATIONS to the performing arts department at Bexhill High School, and staff Katy de Braux and Phil Baxter, for organising a wonderful Bold as Brass event on Saturday February 4.

The evening was led by professional brass players; Harveys Brass, who played a great variety of jazz, classical and popular music, with great fun.

They were later joined by Hastings and Rother Youth Brass, members of the community, children and adults, who sang and played brass to a delighted audience (after attending workshops earlier in the day).

Held in the lovely theatre at Bexhill High, this was a great community event.

Well done and we look forward to many more events.
