Local charity reboots
ON behalf of Homecall I would like to thank Bexhill Lions Club for enabling our charity to purchase a new laptop computer.
Our existing desktop computer is now more than 10 years old and is in danger of breaking down. Their generous gift will enable us to maintain and support the blind and partially sighted people in the Bexhill area and is greatly appreciated. The use of our new laptop computer will make a tremendous difference to our work enabling us to access information instantly for our visually impaired clients when visiting them. It will prove to be a very useful tool when training our new volunteers, its very portability will ensure that we can always access key information in a variety of locations.
Each year Homecall continues to provide help to around 60 visually impaired people in the area, which helps them to continue to live independently. The goal of Homecall is to continue this work. With the ongoing support of the Bexhill Lions and other such organisations we will continue to be able to provide our clients with the help they need.
