Draw for Sight event organiser Clare Kersley explained: “Our Draw for Sight event is based on the popular “poker run” format, and is not gambling.

“It is open to over 16s. Under 16s can take part in our free Happy Families version instead, as long as they are accompanied by an adult who is taking part in our Draw for Sight poker run.

“This is a family fun event where you can stroll, cycle, roller blade or scooter your way to five checkpoints along the seafront, draw a card at each, then make up your best poker hand for your chance to win prizes.

“It’s not a race so you can take your time to enjoy the view and enjoy the occasion in a safe and wheelchair friendly environment

“The fun starts with registration on the De La Warr terrace which will be open from 10am and participants have until 3pm to submit their poker hands.

“Prize giving will be at 3.45pm at the Lions’ stand at the SightFest event

“It is only £3 to enter and the under 16s fun version is free with a participating adult.

“Visit Registration on the terrace at the De La Warr Pavilion to sign in, buy your scoresheet and have it stamped.

“You can choose to buy a spare scoresheet if you like. You will be given a map to show you where the five draw stations are located on Bexhill seafront. Visit them in any order you like.
