Appeal for Sussex Day volunteers

Bexhill’s Sussex Day Champion is appealing for volunteers to help make the event a day to remember.

Sussex Day was officially recognised at a Rother District Council (RDC) meeting and championing the event for the town is Councillor Paul Lendon who says it promises to be a great day out for all the family. He said: “This year Sussex Day will be centred around Bexhill Museum. You can expect to find a Sussex theme with stalls and displays depicting what’s good about Sussex.”

Sussex Day, which takes place on St Richard’s Day, June 16, is the day to celebrate the county’s rich heritage and culture.

If you are interested in being a volunteer or would like further information email: cllr.paul.lendon@rother.gov.uk
