Proposals to merge the Battle and Bexhill RAFA Branches are to be discussed later this month.
The Battle Branch has struggled to find volunteers to take over the running of the branch following the decision of key committee members to step down from their roles.
There will be an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Battle Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) on January 31.
This special meeting has been called to consider a merger of the branch with the much larger Bexhill RAFA Branch.
If approved, the merger with Bexhill would take effect in March.
There have been concerns amongst the Battle Branch committee members about the future of the branch after the branch secretary and the branch chairman both decided not to seek re-election.
