Yes, a lesson in Greece was all that was required to ensure that members of Bexhill Tennis Club had a great time last week in Lemnos.
Travelling together on one of their regular Club holidays the group spent a week on a Nielson activity holiday in Lemnos, a Greek island in the Peloponnese peninsular.
The group received coaching
every day from two tennis instructors which enabled them to fine tune their game ready for social tennis in the afternoons.
Inbetween times there was sailing, cycling, water skiing and swimming to be enjoyed.
Club Chairman, Hilary Rhodes, said: “We enjoyed the break in the run up to our summer season of social events plus three tournaments and, in addition for this year, “We will be supporting Bexhill’s Roaring Twenties celebrations in July by playing in period costume and with wooden racquets!”
The Club, the oldest established in Bexhill, is always looking to welcome new members. So, if you fancy a Game, Set or Match, pop along to Egerton Park and join in.
