Let a century roll by and get those gladrags on - it’s time to glory in Bexhill museum, raise a glass and and help the museum thrive for the next 100 years.
The museum’s Centenary Birthday Party will be held next Thursday, May 22, from 6.30-8.30pm, with buffet, bubbly and birthday cake as well as special activities in the galleries. This is a unique opportunity to see history come alive with song and theatre, with special appearances by the original characters who helped shape the museum, played by youngsters taking on the roles of Kate Marsden, Lady Brassey and Henry Sargent. There will be a special unveiling and the event will serve as the official opening of the next exhibition.
Tickets £25 per person, and advance booking required, phone 01424 787950 or pop into the museum on Egerton Road to buy your tickets.
