Bexhill College is holding taster days in July to allow current Year 10 students to sample courses on offer including A-Levels, BTEC Extended Diploma and International Baccalaureate.
The taster days provide students with the opportunity to choose four different courses to sample, with sessions available in over 40 different A-Levels ranging from archaeology to world development, BTEC extended diplomas including sport, catering, IT, media production and uniformed services, and the International Baccalaureate programme.
The Taster Days are popular and therefore Bexhill College is hosting different schools on different dates.
There is an online booking form for students on the College’s website, with information on the days linked to different schools. The full range of Taster sessions available is also listed on the website.
Students who have not registered already should sign up via the Bexhill College website www.bexhillcollege.ac.uk.
Meanwhile National Adult Learners’ Week runs from Saturday June 14 to Friday June 20 and Bexhill College is running a series of events during the week to inform adults about the courses available locally.
On Monday June 16 at 6pm, interested adults are invited to an information event at the College’s Penland Road site.
There will be information available and experts on-hand to advise people of the opportunities open to them. Information is available on the website or by calling 01424 215746.
As well as the event at the College’s main campus, Bexhill College will have information stands at the Bexhill Farmers’ Market on Friday 13 June, outside Sainsburys’ Bexhill on Friday June 20 and in the Priory Meadow Shopping Centre on Saturday June 21.
