Sparks are expected to fly at next Tuesday’s Bexhill Town Forum with the thorny issue of vice-chairmanship.
Andrew Crotty, who stood down from the post but then withdrew his resignation, has warned he will be there unless formally voted off.
However the executive committee will discuss someone else taking on the role and chairman Phil Lee is asking anyone interested to get in touch.
The Forum will be held from 6.30pm at St Mark’s church hall in Little Common.
Rumours and speculation about proposed changes to the Oasis garden on the seafront could be answered when Ron Storkey explores Rother District Council’s proposals for the plot on the eastern end of the De La Warr car park and surrounding area. His photographs and also the council’s published plan will show what the garden looks like and how it would appear when half of it is concreted over.
“Many of the proposals, including the re-siting of the pedestrian crossing closer to Devonshire road, are detrimental,” said Ron. Cllr Simon Elford, will put the council’s view that its plans will enhance and regenerate the garden. Both speakers will field questions.
