Delicious home-baked cakes will be served up at a Yorkshire Building Society Agency fundraising day in support of a carers’ charity.
Colleagues at M & W Associates, in Devonshire Square, are holding the event on Monday, June 9, from 9.30am, in aid of The Association of Carers.
They decided to get out their aprons, whisks and mixing bowls after a branch member, who works for the charity, asked if they could help raise money.
Anita Morley, proprietor of M & W Associates Yorkshire Building Society Agency, said: “We were delighted to be asked to help raise money for The Association of Carers. It is such an important charity which does so much to help support carers in our area. We want to invite everyone to come into our branch, enjoy a cake and cup of tea and learn more about The Association of Carers.”
The Association of Carers was set up in 1987 and provides support, help and respite for carers in the East Sussex area.
