Laughs all the way at No.48 while fund raising for charity

A COMEDY night at No 48 was “fabulous” according to organiser Andy Rimmer who said the audience enjoyed top entertainment with 12 different comedians contributing to the fun.

Brighton based comedians, Kayo Opebbiyo, Dave Thompson, Athena Kayblenu, Zara Preston, and Joe McCarthy all performed, as well as Yariko Katani, Phil Jerrod, Julie Flynn, Chris Baughurst and Essex boys Michael Remmick, George Appleton, and Tim Lee.

Compere for the night and organiser was ‘No.1 Lion’Rosie Lions, who kept the entertainment flowing and made the show go smoothly, as well as contributing her own brand of humour.

Manager Andy Rimmer said: “It is great to be part of something that puts a smile on people’s faces.

“I and the Bexhill Lions would like to thank everyone involved. We raised £275 for the Lions and another £100 over the weekend for the Giant Easter Egg draw. The Lions do a lot for local good causes and we appreciate all the contributions of our customers to. Our next night of comedy will be on Thursday May, contact No.48 on 01424 736600.”
