Talented Bexhill Caring Community clients applied their skills to Mosaic Making at the Bagnall Day Centre.

Fiona Hemsworth, Day Centre organiser, said: “Volunteer Richard was helped by Doreen and Dennis to make two fabulous Mosaics and they, along with other clients, really enjoyed this activity that took them several weeks to complete.

“They worked so hard to produce these beautiful mosaics which were designed by themselves and can be seen in the Bagnall Room, Sackville Road.”

Bexhill Caring Community is a non-profit making charity that provides day centres for the elderly in Bexhill which enables the carer to have a break during the day.

The day centres provide somewhere for older people to visit, meet up with others, join in activities, enjoy entertainment and occasional trips out.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer or for further information on the day centres visit the website at: www.bexhillcaringcommunity.org or call 01424 215116 or email: leah@bexhillcaringcommunity.co.uk
