Natalie’s great poem about winter

Sidley mum Karen Seddon sent us her six year old daughter’s poem - Natalie is a pupil at All Saints primary school.

Karen said: “Her head was so pleased when she saw her work she copied it for every teacher, put it up in the staff room and put it on the school notice board. She is the youngest in her class, with her birthday being August 30. It was a very proud mummy moment, that a child I had produced had gone on to develop in this way!”

Winter In the Forest

Shimmering ice gleaming in the night,

Icy trees swaying in the breeze,

Frozen forest, frozen as stone.

Whistling wind,

Whistling wind the only sound in the forest.

The rest is silent.
