Today is September 16 and our club is back again after the summer holidays.
There were about 32 members attending and because our hoped-for speaker couldn’t come, we had a craft afternoon, making a cracker which was good fun.
Later, just before tea, we had been asked to fill in a form giving the name and address of a contact person, in case anyone in the club is unwell, or has an accident at any time.
After tea we had a quiz, all about things that happened in the 1960’s.
We were also reminded that on December 18 there is a party going to see the pantomime at White Rock Hastings, which this year is Dick Whittington, meeting outside Lidls at 1pm and the tickets are £15. Also, we signed a form about the senior bus passes. We don’t want them stopped.
