Large spiders, a giant crab, dinosaur bones and an ancient egyptian mummified baby crocodile - what’s not to love at Bexhill Museum?
There’s plenty to entertain kids during half-term and the collection includes plenty of Halloween type thrillers to suit all ages.
The special Sussex Folklore exhibition displays artefacts and costumes, and children can also visit the motoring gallery and have a go on the interactive games. If children like clothes, there is a collection of costumes through the ages. On Thursday, October 31 from 2pm till 4pm there will be drop-in art and craft activities on the theme of “Spooky Sussex” where children can make things for Halloween, and there will also be two guided walk-abouts in the galleries - at 3 pm and 4 pm. The cost of £3 an adult and £2 a child includes admission to the Museum, arts and crafts and the guided walk-about. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
