Bexhill High Academy marked Safer Internet Day with a theme of ‘Let’s create a better internet together.’

SID is organised by Insafe in February each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.

Safer Internet Day is run to get families, children and young people, and also their parents and teachers to raise awareness of working together to create a better and safer internet for everyone.

Family Lives is an organisation dedicated to supporting families through impartial advice and guidance.

It has produced a number of guides on new technologies, including social media, Facebook and Twitter. Please use the link below to access their free guides: http://familylives.org.uk/advice/your-family/online-safety/parents-guide-to-the-latest-social-media-and-instant-messaging-apps/
