VINTAGE bike fans have planned a leisurely family ride around Bexhill ending in a civilised afternoon tea.
Members of the town’s Classic Cycle Group – who are well known for their love of old fashioned bikes and tweed clothes – have pencilled in the event for Sunday April 13.
Starting at 2pm outside Bexhill Railway Station, under the entrance canopy, they will gently ride a two to three mile route before settling at a local café for afternoon tea. A second ride will then be held for anyone who fancies it.
All are welcome – regardless of type of bike – although pre -1980s cycles are appreciated if cyclists own one. Optional dress code of something in the spirit of vintage
