Volunteers needed to join local group of Parkinson’s UK

The Bexhill, Hastings and Rother Branch of Parkinson’s UK, are appealing for volunteers to join their group.

The volunteer led group offer information, friendship and support to local people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers in and around the Bexhill, Hastings and Rother.

Volunteer Support Officer Jenny Wilcox said: “One of the very important reasons the local Parkinson’s UK group exists is to offer support to people with Parkinson’s and their families and carers; a chance to talk, discuss concerns and experiences and to offer friendship and that all important social setting.

“But all of this could not take place without the tireless work of the volunteers who put in a huge effort to make sure this group and all its activities run smoothly.”
