Motown classics bring sounds of Detroit to Hastings

Preview: Dancing in The Streets, White Rock Theatre, Sunday, November 22, 7.30pm.

Dancing in the Streets as been wowing audiences all over the UK and has spent three sensational years in London's West End.

Now the show is coming to Hastings - giving audiences the chance to experience the energy, the excitement, the emotion and the electricity of Motown in Ivor Novello award winning director Keith Strachan's production.

Motown helped break down barriers around the world and was responsible for producing some of the world's most influential and enduring songs of the 20th century.

Classics released on the label included I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Baby Love, My Girl, Dancing in the Streets, Signed Sealed Delivered I'm Yours, Where Did Our Love Go, What's Going On and The Supremes classic, You Can't Hurry Love.

All these songs and more will be relived on the White Rock stage.

Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and Gladys Knight might be elsewhere - but the spirit of Motown will be well and truly in Hastings.
