The stars of the pantomime Cinderella will be switching on Bexhill’s Christmas lights at 6pm on December 4.
The actors from the pantomime at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings will be in the town centre along with a festive market, singers, dancers and fireworks to celebrate the new decorations.
The programme for the big switch on was announced on Sunday (October 18) and co-organiser Mick Matthews wanted to thank everyone for their support.
“When I started this it was something I wanted to do for Bexhill,” he said.
“I would love to thank the whole of Bexhill for it because it’s all for them.
“They want to be involved and I genuinely believe that everyone thinks that Bexhill is a very special town.”
The Bexhill Drummers kick off proceedings at 5pm before Doug Smith and Uncle Bumble take the stage.
At 6pm, all the lights will be turned on across the town with fireworks on the beach.
Other acts include Diane Friedman’s school of dancing, Rother Choir and Frank Sinatra tribute singer Lennie Aldous.
In addition, the Bexhill 100 Motoring Club will be parading cars around the town centre and magician Justin Saul will be wowing the crowds.
The organisers are encouraging visitors to dress up in any costume for the switch on.
Western Road will be closed from 4pm to 9pm for the market and Devonshire Road will be shut from 5pm.
