An evening of Schubert, Mozart, Liszt, Clementi and Chopin will take place at the Jerwood Gallery on November 17.

Eugenio Catone, winner of the 2012 Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition is performing an intimate recital to just 120 people.

This is the first event of its kind at the new gallery and will bring a unique feel to this classical music event.

The event starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are limited and can be bought in person at the Hastings Information Centre, Priory Meadow, or by calling 01424 451111.

It has also been announced that the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will play for the three finalists in the International Piano Concerto Competition 2013, which is to take place on March 16 at the White Rock Theatre, Hastings.

The Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition is the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the annual Hastings Musical Festival.
