Theatre Nurse Rebecca Fellowes, from St Leonards, will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats on April 8 to raise money for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
She said: “A very dear friend of mine was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in November 2013. She has bravely fought this illness since then but sadly, she lost the fight on 19 March. Last year I walked 26 miles with my husband and friends and we raised over £1000 for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
Our ride is being entirely funded by ourselves and we shall be unsupported for the entire journey The ride will take two weeks. Last year I walked 26 miles with my husband and friends and we raised over £1,000.”
