Shoppers give generously

St Michael’S Hospice would like to thank the Marks and Spencer store at Ravenside Retail Park, Bexhill, and their customers who donated money to the charity at the Easter Store Collection on April 19.

Two hundred and seventy eight pounds was raised on the day through collections and a raffle in which members of the public donated money to, including a 2ft chocolate bunny and a homemade Lindt chocolate tree.

Amanda Hildreth, Community Fundraiser for St. Michael’s Hospice, said: “A very big thank you to everyone who made a donation, and to all the volunteers who gave their time.”

St Micahel’s Hopsice provides specialist care to poeople with life-limiting illnesses across the Hastngs and Roter area.
