The New Inn in Sidley is holding a sponsored bungee jump on Saturday June 27 from 3pm -5pm.

The event is to raise money for the charity Jack’s Dream and to go towards funding for the BMX track in Sidley.

Jack’s Dream is a charity that offers emotional and financial support to families who have lost a baby or child.

Valerie Hornby, from the Bexhill Burners BMX Club, said: “Locals and BMX club members of all ages will be jumping from the extreme crane of 200ft.

“Our aim is for an all year/all weather usable track for the club and locals to use.

Bexhill Burners have one of the only BMX tracks in the local area.

The track is at ‘grass roots’ level, but they are hoping for investment in the future. Coaching sessions and Open Gates are run on Saturday mornings,

Check www.jumpclub.co.uk who run all the coaching at the track for up to date times and dates.
