Police are appealing for information after a series of garage break-ins in Bexhill.

Tools and recreational equipment, including fishing rods and reels, have been stolen from inside.

Sergeant Ian Miller said: “We have seen a rise in overnight breaks to garages over the last three weeks.

“Should anyone see or hear anything suspicious or out of place around such properties, please call police without delay on 999.”

Anyone with information concerning garage break-ins is asked to e-mail 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101.

Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
