Children in at Little Common School enjoyed a dressing up day to link in with their learning about heroes and villains.

Pupils in year two were spotted sporting a wide range of costumes depicting numerous well-known characters from blockbuster movies, such as Frozen, Captain America and the Batman films.

Indeed, Batman, Princess Elsa, Captain America and Wonder Woman could be seen parading along the school’s corridors.

Spiderman was also seen in places, as well as Darth Vader from Star Wars, Mario and Luigi from the hit Nintendo games, as well as a few pirates.

As part of the day-long list of themed activities, which were held last week at the Shepherd’s Close school, the children took part in games during PE and wrote about their chosen characters in their English class.

To finish off the day’s fun activities watching superheroes in action in the films Tangled and Hoodwinked.
