Sussex is preparing to fall silent in honour of fallen soldiers on Remembrance Sunday this morning (Sunday November 8).

Services are being held in towns and villages across the county in memory of those who died fighting for our country.

At 11am, thousands of people across Sussex will pay their respects with a two minutes’ silence.

This morning, ceremonies will be held at war memorials in many areas including Worthing, Shoreham, Bognor, Littlehampton and Horsham.
