The Funky Badger Club is back for a laugh

The Funky Badger Comedy Club is back and rocking Centre Stage in Bexhill tonight with Jokes 4 George.

George Tappenden is a child with Type 2 Spinal Muscular Atrophy who requires help with mobility and development. So far, money has been raised for a special wheelchair for him, but he now requires help for therapies and other treatments.

Founder of the club, Chris Baughurst-McKay, says, “George is a very special young boy who shows a lot of potential for the future which can be helped realised by treatment and support. I’m proud to be holding this event with Centre Stage, and also with new and established acts it is looking to be one of the best nights we’ve run during our first year!”

Headlining the event is Brighton stalwart, Ade Foiadelli, and other acts include Alexis Wieroney, Winter Foenander, Yuriko Kotani, Rick Murtagh and MC for the night will be Kayo Opebiyi. Tickets are £5 each and are available from Chris on 07588584493 or on the door.

Doors open at 8pm with disabled access and licensed bar. Over 18s only - contains adult material.
