Motorists are currently facing delays on the road in Bexhill this evening (Friday, June 17) due to an accident.

The A259 along King Offa Way is partially blocked with queuing traffic in both directions between the A269 London Road junction and the B2182 Cooden Sea Road junction.

Police said they were called to an accident involving three vehicles at around 4.10pm today on Little Common Road.

One of the cars struck a bus shelter.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are on the scene and a spokesman for Sussex Police said there were reports of minor injuries.
