Town Guild celebrates reaching 50 years

Bexhill Down Townswoman’s Guild celebrated its 50th birthday in style with a great party for their May

meeting and for their June meeting an outing to Merriment Gardens, near Hurst Green, where

everyone enjoyed the gardens and finished of with a beautiful cream tea.

The Guild meets the second Wednesday of each month (except during August) at St Augustine’s Church Hall, Cooden Drive.

Chairman Joyce Wood said: “We are a very friendly Guild and welcome new members.”

Townswoman’s Guilds are a national organisation for women of all ages, for educational, recreational, and social activities. They are non-political.
