A seagull had to be saved from netting in Bexhill by firefighters yesterday morning (Sunday, August 16).

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service attended the bird on Beeching Road at around 10.20am at the request of the RSPCA.

Firefighters used a ladder to access the seagull which was released into the care of the RSPCA.
