Tune in to Bexhill FM for a fortnight of original radio


Bexhill FM, the radio station run from Bexhill High Academy starts tomorrow from 9am broadcasting on 87.7FM and online at bexhillfm.org

The radio station is a showcase for the creativity and skill of young people and adults taking part in producing the annual two week broadcast.

Sponsors this year are Hastings Direct, De La Warr Pavilion, and The Heart of Sidley. Others include Freestyle Combat Academy, McPhersons, SBS Consumables, Musics Not Dead, Allan Edwards, 247 Taxis and Eddie Izzard. This year, Bexhill FM has a wide variety of shows – with an Arts Show in association with the DLWP, a five minute Community Showcase which runs 10 times a day highlighting school and community content and partnership with the production of Grease, happening at the Bexhill High Academy, with tickets on offer during broadcast.

Exciting shows from presenters include Richard at Breakfast, Joe Miller (Student) at Drivetime and Louis Walker ‘Mr Controversial’ asking questions on a daily basis to the people that matter within Bexhill.
