Railway lines between Hastings and Eastbourne have reopened.

A person was hit by a train earlier this morning (March 1) causing delays and cancellations to rail services.

Shortly before 8.20am, train operator Southern Tweeted to say all lines have now reopened.

But the firm has warned passengers that cancellations and delays of up to 20 minutes should be expected.

There is currently no further information about this morning’s incident.
