Again I find myself writing to defend a very provocative headline about Woodville.
My mother has been cared for at Woodville for five years, but has been bed bound since Easter.
She needs full care but all the staff working at Woodville support both my mum, family and myself.
It is testament to the staff that my mum is still with us and although bed bound has never had a pressure sore. The staff do not deserve the negative press.
After the last CQC inspection report was released I asked the CQC to discuss with all the families but again this has not happened.
Woodville’s Facebook account has had horrible personal posts against the staff and family members.
This is not acceptable.
I have not just left my mother in an inadequate home, she remains in Woodville as I chose for her to stay, with carers who do just that- they care for her.
