Chance to claim back our country

Every day, they chip away at those who voted Brexit.

We are irresponsible, misinformed, ignorant, stupid and bringing disaster on our country.

In face, it is the un-elected cave dwellers known as the City, supported by the BoE with taxpayers’ money, who are responsible, not the people.

But the situation provides us with a golden opportunity.

At the heart of it lies the deeper reason we voted Brexit: to remove foreign control and influence over our country.

It follows that a priority is to ban foreign ownership of assets. This would also stop foreign ‘investors’ – ie speculators – buying up property which reduces the housing stock.

Key though is to take an axe to the monolithic 80 per cent services sector which has dragged down real wages and living standards, wrecking the lives of millions of people.

A further priority is to phase out foreign recruitment.

We are a wonderfully talented people. We can revive and diversify our economy – and build Hinkley Point!

We have the opportunity to reclaim our country and culture, and find our place in a part of the world we have founded anew.

A pipe dream? Certainly it won’t happen overnight.
