Reading in the Observer and national news about cuts having to be made in adult social care expenditure surely brings the case of the seemingly large amount of revenue raised by councils and hospitals who charge the sick and their supporters for parking.
Could the councils not adjust the losses in ASC by putting some if not all toward the people who need it most rather than in the council and parking bosses pockets.
The councils seem to make a fair amount of money for doing actually very little in the parking issue which seems to me to be all take and no give (no surprises there then) so instead of putting council tax up they could give just a little back to those who need it most.
